Three stumbling stones for the Istel family with flowers

For the third time, the Frankfurt Cäcilienchor initiated and placed 30 Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) for its members who were persecuted during the Nazi era from 1933 to 1945. The ceremonial unveiling of the Stolpersteine for ten former choir members and their families took place in Frankfurt on April 25 and 26, 2026. We reconstructed the life stories of these people and thus brought them back into our community. The Stolpersteine are intended to keep their memory alive in the public consciousness.
